- If you plan on picking up the Hiker, you must replace the box, with a new box, at that moment, to keep seekers from searching for something that isn't there. This will allow seekers to find a new stamp, even though, it may not be the Hiker. Gas prices are to high to be going on a wild goose chase. You are not required to take the Hiker with you. If can decide to only collect the Hiker image if you so choose.

-The race will begin in both South Carolina and New Hampshire. The race will consist of the following: each Hiker will travel to each of the 48 continental states. The race will be over when the Hiker has done so. In order for any state to count, it must be planted in any state at least once. South Carolina and New Hampshire "will not" count towards the 48 unless replanted again after the initial plant by Team New Hampshire or A Son of Liberty. The Hiker stamps "can" be planted in both Hawaii and or Alaska, but understand, they are far from the mainland and would make the race longer.
-
- Please do not send the box through the mail. The only exception "could" be made for Hawaii and or Alaska (Hiker planted , found, and mailed back). Please do not make prior arrangements to have the next person of your choice, grab the box. This would make The Great Race rather unfair, and the box needs to be planted (preferably) by the same boxer, within a reasonably time. This will keep The Great Race as fair as possible and allow as many boxers as possible to play the game.

- Please do not hand out the clues to the Hikers location, to anyone, other than Team New Hampshire for the NH Hiker, and A Son of Liberty for the SC Hiker. You can click on our trail names which will direct you to our email addresses. Clues about where the Hiker is located, "are" necessary. The only way any other boxers will figure out the location of the Hiker, will be the blog set up for the race. A short description of your journey from one location to the other and pictures "are not" necessary, but would be wonderful to add to your post. Please keep the clues as simple as possible to not prolong the Hikers finding.

- You can log in your find using the AQ site directly or by the link provided on the right side of this blog. If you have any questions, feel free to contact A Son of Liberty or Team New Hampshire.
